My grandson loves it!So does all the males in his life. It’s small but controller is easy to use and it works awesome!
Fun present for our toddler at a great price. Batter life is good and the functions of the toy are cool and fun to play with. Our 4 year old daughter has a lot of fun playing with this.
Range is extremely limited to 15 feet with fully charged batteries. Range is worse in specific rooms of the house. It maybe due to radio interference with other electronics in the house. Or the switches are making bad contact like an adult pushing too hard on the controls, I can't figure out which. Tracks slide halfway off, but correct themselves. Tracks are not independently controlled from each other. You can only turn OR go strait, not both at the same time, which i suppose is realistic. Bucket is metal. Bucket control only has one button which is a pick-and-dump cycle. Bucket drops below the tracks to get a good bight at what your picking up. It only plays music on the bucket dump button, not for driving which is not as annoying. Overall not bad for 25$
For a moderately-priced RC excavator toy aimed at kids, it offers a lot of great features (metal shovel, tracks, remote, rechargeable batteries, fun dig/scoop action) and seems to deliver. It’s especially good if you’re buying for a child who loves construction-vehicles and active play. But if you’re expecting a high‐performance, metal‐alloy full-scale RC excavator (for older kids/teens or hobbyists), it might fall short in terms of durability or precision.
My grandson loved this toy so much. It was a Christmas present for my 5 year old grandson but even the teen older brothers were playing with it. Durable and good quality
super tiny and not 3 year old appropriate as stated in the description
Is this too much for a 2 year old? I wasn't sure but when my grandson had his 2nd birthday, I got this for him. He played with the controller for just a few minutes and then he was directing the front loader all over the floor! He absolutely loved this toy! It is very simple to operate (one lever goes up and down for forward and back, the other lever goes right and left for turning). There is one button to cycle the front end bucket. This entertains him for hours. Especially when he has some legos to put in the bucket and cart around. This is definitely usable by a 2 year old!I have one gripe: This has flexible black treads - one on the right and another on the left. They may have stretched a bit since leaving the factory. On carpeted floors the treads seem to slide off the driving wheels when turning sharply. They are easy to put back on but it would be better if we had some adjustment for tensioning the tread belt.I have already started looking for other machines from the same vendor - maybe a Crane or a Dump Truck would be wonderful to complete the set!
This toy excavator has been a big hit in our house — not just for the kids, but for the adults too! It’s really fun to use and has held up great to some rough play. The build is solid and feels very durable, even after being dropped or driven into furniture a few times. The spare battery is a huge bonus and keeps the fun going without long breaks. The battery life itself is impressive — it runs for at least three hours of active use, and we even found it still powered on after being forgotten under the bed for a couple of days!If you’re looking for a fun, well-built toy that keeps kids entertained and doesn’t wear out after a week, this is a great choice. Highly recommend!
