The wide 32:9 screen in Dual QHD resolution and 110 pixels per inch provides unparalleled levels of clarity to pick up on all the details across the 49" screen. Glare Free technology significantly reduces glare from external light sources for the perfect black and color experience without distractions. Samsung OLED Safeguard reduces heat and prevents burn-in. The Slim Metal Design and height-adjustable stand provide the best angles, while CoreSync and Core Lighting+ enhance the immersive experience by projecting on-screen colors into the real world and adding amazing color to any set-up. The monitor is alright but I was having issues with it detecting the connection to my laptop. Using display port or HDMI did not matter much, as both were giving me detection issues. It does have some text fringing issues that makes text hard to read. I was using a 14 inch M2 Pro MacBook Pro. Had to return it in the end.
so many features and the picture is so good switching over from an ips panel. the deep blacks and vibrant color are instantly noticeable. the stand is premium and has tons of smooth adjustment options, and the highest point is a really good viewing angle for a 6'0 ft person. the base is flat so it doesn't seem like it takes up much desk space. highly recommend this oled ultrawide for gaming, you won't be disappointed. the width makes every game more immersive.edited after 2 months to add: i too had connectivity issues within the first few days. the screen would turn off randomly after i closed a game, and sometime screen would flicker. all you have to do is turn off G Sync. that will fix both of those issues.
looked good at first but then it would not register the display port ever again. Seen its a common issue online. Also the dashboard look quality looks blurry. Kinda pissed me off that a monitor even has a dashboard exactly like a samsung tv, it even comes with a tv remote. The screw in the base stand was stripped also right out of the box.
I’ve been using this monitor on the daily for work, watching online vids and doing some gaming. It’s versatile and adaptable at all three. Super sharp graphics for my design and Photoshop use, no lag time when gaming. The size is perfect for an immersive experience, but not so big as it strains your peripheral vision.
Very clear picture, better sound than I expected in this monitor. I have it pared with a Star Tech D86A2-2-PORT-8K-KVM) KVM switch to share the monitor between my work and home computers. I found this easier than having to grab the Monitor remote control and change display inputs. even with the KVM, i gat running on 120hz and have found the text very easy to read. The only negative would be that sometimes the monitor menus come up in no real predictable reason when changing devices, or when a computer goes to sleep and then wakes back up. I find that if i just wait a few seconds they go away again.
Absolutely AMAZING, that it was delivered in 3 days, Oh and the monitor is really good also.
I purchased this monitor with the hopes of cleaning my desktop off (multiple monitors) and just generally streamline my workflow. This monitor impeads any work progress I have with its constant problems, quirks, and annoyances. First off good luck actually getting full resolution without having to buy a number of different cables and adapters just to get it to run a full rez. I have a brand new Mac Studio M4, and a (2024)NorthWest Falcon Talon PC. I have a spaghetti mess just getting them to connect ( also there are very few ports so if you have more than two comp, good luck) . Staying connected is another matter, for no apparent reason (my previous LG monitors had no issue) this monitor will disconnect and warn of a lost signal. I am not clear why it does this but it will not reconned until I power down and disconnect/re-connect it physically from the computers. The monitor has a screen protection solution that is intended to prevent burn in. What it really does is move your screen around and off of the visible space, again requiring a physical power cycle to correct and then a 10 minute sequence that renders your screen unusable. This happens 4 to 5 times a week in a 60hr usage span. Long story short prepare yourself to play Frankenstein rewiring, unplugging, messing with options every couple of days just to use it. On top of all of this is the monitors options settings are constantly reminding you of them. There is a stream of overlay graphical option sets that will randomly appear and can not be cleared and must time out. There are no options to disable this and are a constant irritation as the overlays block my access to my system tray ... and basically require me to stop what im doing and wait the 3 min until they disappear. When you can get it to work correctly the screen and resolution its wonderful, but be prepared for frustration to achieve that. I will not be buying another Samsung monitor/tv/ anything again.
Great monitor with stunning picture quality. The display itself is absolutely incredible, but the built-in operating system feels average. My only real complaint is that it only comes with one DisplayPort input. If it had two, it would be perfect.I use this with both a MacBook Air M2 and a gaming PC. The MacBook requires USB-C to DisplayPort for proper resolution scaling (USB-C to HDMI won’t scale correctly), and the PC also needs DisplayPort to maximize frame rates. Because of this limitation, I’ve had to rely on a DP 1.4 extension cable and manually swap connections between the two systems.
