Install, configure and walk away. Having two stations eliminated my need for a repeater.

I am very happy with my purchase of the ASUS ZenWiFi BT6 Tri-Band WiFi 7 Mesh router. It works perfectly with my Asus GT-AXE11000, and provides good coverage on the second floor of my house, in the areas I need coverage. It was very easy to set up. I connected it to the ethernet port on my router, and the rest was pretty much automatic. My main router is on the first floor, and together they give me good speed and good coverage. If I need additional coverage, I have no doubt about buying a corresponding Asus Mesh router.

Not sure why everyone says the speeds are slow, makes me wonder if they have checked thier modem and it's abilities. Personally I know thats where my limiting factor is since I run a nighthawk cm1200 which caps each lan port to a gig. All that said I've ran multiple tests and im happy with the results. Set up was slightly annoying but may have been because I didnt have the router main and node close enough initially. All and all very happy and looks like its time for a new modem to utilize this set up properly.

Purchased a 3 pack for a 2500 sf 2 story house. Coverage is great. No dropping at all. My printer wouldn't connect to the wifi 7 but the Asus router created a separate wifi 6 SSID it can use and it prints from all household devices. No other issues.

On paper, it looks great but in reality, it’s a disaster. Constant random disconnects, and the LAN port only works sometimes!!!. Honestly, don’t even waste your time and money. A 20-year-old router would be more reliable than this peiceof JUNK.

Purchased a set of two to upgrade an old Wi-Fi 5 router. The ASUS app and web interface settings are top notch and allow for good flexibility and customization like DNS and manual channel selection. That is where any positives end. These things CONSTANTLY disconnect clients randomly. Cannot understate how frustrating it is to be online with a device and get hourly random “network connection has dropped” errors while loading something. If lucky to not get an error, pages will often stay stuck loading partially or take 30+ seconds to load. Turning off MLO, DFS, all of the AIProtection features does not improve stability. The firmware and software implementation is just poor at this point.ASUS has only released two firmware updates in several months for this model and stability has not improved at all. These are not ready for prime time. Recommend to avoid.

Really solid product. After trying Eero and realizing there was very limited configuration, I did research on the best mesh system. I was going between Netgear, TP Link, and Assus. I'm glad I made the right choice. It's hard to find a product like this which lets you use 6ghz backhaul as a guarantee per settings, and you can customize a lot. Like I can turn off the radios on my satellite because I only need it to connect, not transmit. Overall very stable so far, no issues at all. Fast speeds.

Asus has major problems with this product. Their tech support line has a recording saying that they have known connectivity problems because of a firmware glitch. Well after spending an hour on the phone, I have the new firmware and did get internet connection now but it is causing buffering and hangs continually on live TV streaming. Never a problem before this equipment was installed. They have more problems than I want to deal with. Also, their internet speed test is showing that I am getting 500Mbps. Ookla Speed test consistently shows 200-300Mbps. This is at least a two fold increase in internet speed from what I was getting with my old router but the connection is not consistent at all. So just because there is a huge download increase in speed, this router and node cannot stream live TV as well as my old router which has WiFi 4 (802.11n).

First purchase for my ZenWifi mesh. I had an older Asus router that had Aimesh capabilities and I bought this to increase my coverage. It has only one 2.5 WAN/LAN port and I could not connect it by Ethernet to my older router which has a 2.5 WAN port. I really wanted to take advantage of a 2.5 Ethernet backhaul. So I purchased the BT8 to use as the main, and connected the two and I couldn’t be happier. Easy to set up. No dropped signals and covered a lot of my house when it was the main router. As the node, it easily connects with my phone and laptops where it now resides on the top floor. 6Ghz fast! I recommend this as a standalone, but if you wish to have a 2.5 or 10 Ethernet backhaul this will not be the model you want. As a node, this works very well. Minus one star for the lack of a second 2.5 port. You may save a little money by purchasing a BT6 and BT8 instead of a pair of BT8’s. As the combo works great for me.

Upload compared to my Eero 6+ was horrible. Download was marginally better. On paper this is a good gigabyte system but in reality it had lesser range. Ended up returning it. App and settings are great though. Maybe only the upper end units like the BQ16 actually perform like they should.
